Service Description
NTDSE Occupational Therapy services are provided for students whose neuromuscular, sensorimotor, and/or cognitive challenges impact educational progress and successful participation in the educational environment. The goal of our program is to provide students with the tools and support needed to develop confidence and functional independence to meet their potential. Goals reflect the assessed needs of each student. Occupational therapy focuses on occupational performance as it relates to the student’s motor skills, daily living skills, school work activities, play skills, or vocational skills. All NTDSE Occupational Therapists are certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
